2024 Festival
Festival Report
Our 10th anniversary Festival was our biggest and most diverse so far, with 18 events (mostly sold out) attended by over 2,000 people.
As well as up-to-date feature films and documentaries, we had a Heritage series, two craft workshops for families and children, and two events with music. The embroidery workshop, cancelled due to snow, will be held on 25th January.
We are delighted that ‘No Other Land’ – our opening film – which screened to nearly 500 people in partnership with Leeds International Film Festival, won the Audience Award for Best Documentary Feature.
RIchard Burgon MP opened our very first Festival in 2015, and returned to open our 10th Festival. Watch his reflections here.
