They join a movement of young American Jews battling the old guard to fight for Palestinian equality and redefine Judaism’s relationship with Israel, revealing a deepening generational divide over modern Jewish identity.

Erin Axelman is a queer Jewish filmmaker based in Massachusetts. They are the co-director and producer of Israelism, which is roughly based on their story, and which is their directorial debut. Erin is also the co-founder and co-executive Director of Tikkun Olam Productions, the production company behind Israelism.
