Proudly part of another Leeds Scalarama Programme, this was a evening of contemporary short films on Palestinian Life, Art and Music at the Belgrave Music Hall & Canteen . Thanks to the Belgrave for welcoming us warmly.
The film line up was:
‘Colors of Resistance’ (30 mins) about art and music of Palestinians trying to retain their identity with a country that is being deprived of its right to exist
‘Palestine Underground’ (27 mins) showing the music and hip-hop scene in Ramallah
‘Made in Palestine’ (7 mins) a beautiful film about the traditional Palestinian scarf known as Kufiya (https://www.kufiya.org/)
