At Leeds Palestinian Film Festival, we believe cinema belongs to everyone.
We are dedicated to creating festival experiences that are inclusive and accessible — for audiences, artists, and volunteers alike.
This page lets you know how we approach accessibility and how you can provide feedback or request adjustments.
Our approach
We aim to identify and remove barriers to participation across all aspects of the festival.
Our goals include:
- Ensuring all screening venues meet a defined minimum accessibility standard
- Publishing accurate access information in advance of events
- Offering captioning, audio description for a number of events
- Providing quiet / low‑stimulus spaces where possible
- Listening to your feedback and improving continuously
We view accessibility as an ongoing journey—not a one-time checklist. We are always learning.
Venue Accessibility
We work with multiple venues across Leeds. Accessibility features vary by site; always check the event listing page or contact us for specifics.
Below is a general accessibility checklist we aspire to:
Service offered
- Step-free access to entrances and main screening rooms
- Accessible toilets
- Early admissions/Reserved seating
- Staff briefed on access issues
- Clear signage and lighting cues
While we work hard to improve, limitations may exist at times . Where a workaround is possible (e.g., an alternative format or staff assistance), we’ll try to provide it.

If you require any assistance, please notify us in advance using the contact info below.
