Women are at the forefront when an uprising breaks out in 1987. Naila, an iron willed young woman in Gaza, promotes non-violent struggle, and must make a decision between love, family & freedom. This film premiered to great acclaim internationally in 2018, including to sold out audiences in Gaza. It gives a unique insight into the little known role of women in leading peaceful resistance during the period of resistance to occupation called the ‘First Intifada’.
